Following the deeply coveted JS1 Chrome Boy, Ibanez and Joe Satriani now present the Japanese-made JS2 edition of Joe's signature guitar. Boasting a seriously opulent finish, this unique axe comes gilded from top to bottom. Supplied by premium fret-maker Jescar, all twenty-two frets are made of EVOgold and have received Ibanez's Prestige Fret Edge treatment to make sure they feel as smooth as they look. The JS-profile neck, meanwhile, lifts the playability to a degree beyond compare, while the sumptuous finish seals a familiarly contoured, exceptionally snug alder body.

So you can send that famed signature Satch sound to your amp, Ibanez and Joe have opted for a DiMarzio FRED bridge humbucker and a pair of Satch Track single-coil pickups for the neck and the middle position. Combined with individual pickup toggle switches, this set-up grants access to a wide range of growling PAF-style sounds but can just as easily be dialled in to deliver harmoniously lilting leads. You even get a push/pull volume pot so you can split the humbucker, plus a high-pass filter built into the tone pot. Carefully put together by Japanese master-builders, the Ibanez JS2 has been polished off with an Edge tremolo bridge and a whammy bar for those otherworldly vibratos, as well as a locking nut and a set of ultra-stable Gotoh tuners. So you can keep the whole thing in an immaculate state, this singular signature electric guitar comes complete with a hardshell case.
